Responsibilities
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems with speed and accuracy to process customer transactions.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service by answering product inquiries.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit payments, ensuring all balances are correct.
- Assist with bagging items, organizing the sales floor, and maintaining a tidy checkout area.
- Process returns, exchanges, and loyalty program registrations efficiently.
- Cash out registers at the end of your shift and prepare daily deposits.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience as a cashier or in retail is a plus, but we provide training.
- Strong mathematical skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable transportation and availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends.
