Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions efficiently and accurately using Point of Sale (POS) systems.
- Handle cash, credit card, and gift card payments with strict adherence to company financial policies.
- Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and fully stocked with necessary supplies.
- Assist customers with product inquiries, locate items, and provide exceptional customer service.
- Monitor and maintain accurate cash drawers at the end of every shift.
- Collaborate with the sales team to meet daily sales targets.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in retail, food service, or customer service is preferred.
- Basic math skills and the ability to handle money accurately.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
