Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with strict attention to detail to ensure accuracy.
- Assist with bagging items and maintaining a clean, organized checkout area.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and satisfactory manner.
- Monitor the register drawer and reconcile daily sales reports.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations during peak hours.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong basic math skills and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
