Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using modern point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to drive customer satisfaction.
- Handle cash, credit, and gift card payments with strict adherence to company security and audit protocols.
- Reconcile daily sales, prepare deposits, and resolve any transaction discrepancies immediately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming checkout environment.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking shelves as required.
- Answer phone inquiries and provide product information to customers.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for accurate cash handling.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
