Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions quickly and accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries, and provide exceptional service to meet sales targets.
- Manage cash drawers efficiently, perform end-of-shift reconciliations, and balance daily reports.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming checkout area.
- Assist with inventory counts, stocking shelves, and keeping the sales floor presentable.
- Handle returns, exchanges, and customer complaints with patience and professionalism.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous cashier or retail experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong math skills and attention to detail are essential.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
