Responsibilities
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems with 100% accuracy and speed.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while maintaining accurate drawer balance.
- Assist with restocking shelves and maintaining a clean sales floor.
- Process returns and exchanges according to company policy.
- Resolve customer complaints efficiently and professionally.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a cashier or in retail is preferred.
- Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Reliable and punctual attendance record.
- Familiarity with POS software is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
