Responsibilities
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems and handle cash, credit, and check transactions with 100% accuracy.
- Greet customers warmly and provide product recommendations and assistance.
- Process returns, exchanges, and refunds in accordance with company policy.
- Assist in maintaining store inventory levels by stocking shelves and organizing sales floor displays.
- Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and fully stocked with supplies.
- Collaborate with the management team to resolve customer issues and improve service standards.
- Adhere to all safety and security protocols while handling merchandise.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous cashier or retail experience is a plus but not required for the right candidate.
- Strong mathematical skills and the ability to handle money with high precision.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly, customer-first attitude.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs (assisting with inventory).
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.
