Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions quickly and accurately using our state-of-the-art point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Greet customers with a warm, friendly demeanor and provide exceptional service at every touchpoint.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while maintaining strict accuracy and cash balance integrity.
- Assist customers with product inquiries, locate items within the store, and provide recommendations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming checkout area and sales floor.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure smooth store operations and inventory organization.
- Handle returns, exchanges, and customer complaints with patience and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a cashier or in a retail role is preferred but not required.
- Strong math skills and the ability to handle money with high attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
