Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions using provided POS systems and payment equipment
- Handle cash, credit, and digital payments with accuracy and security
- Operate barcode scanners, receipt printers, and cash registers (all provided)
- Assist customers with product inquiries and resolve checkout issues
- Maintain organized checkout area and perform basic equipment maintenance
- Balance daily transactions and report discrepancies to management
- Support inventory management using provided handheld scanners
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Basic math skills and comfort handling cash/transactions
- Ability to learn provided POS systems quickly with training
- Strong customer service orientation and communication skills
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
- Ability to stand for extended periods (equipment provided for comfort)
- No prior experience required – equipment training provided
