Job Overview:
The Cashier plays a vital role in the smooth operation of our facility. You will be the face of our club, responsible for processing transactions with accuracy and efficiency while ensuring every member and guest feels valued.
Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately using the POS system, handling cash, credit, and check payments with precision.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming checkout area at all times.
- Perform daily cash drawer reconciliation and prepare accurate daily reports.
- Assist in the inventory management of merchandise, merchandise returns, and gift shop operations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries and resolving any transaction-related issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with all club policies and cash handling procedures.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience as a cashier or in retail/hospitality is preferred.
- Strong numerical skills and a high level of accuracy in cash handling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
