Responsibilities
- Process cash, credit, and digital transactions accurately using provided POS equipment
- Assist customers with product inquiries, pricing, and promotions
- Maintain clean, organized checkout area and restock supplies as needed
- Operate provided scanners, scales, and payment terminals efficiently
- Resolve minor customer concerns and escalate complex issues appropriately
- Balance cash drawer and reconcile daily transactions
- Support inventory management through provided handheld scanners
Qualifications
- Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred
- Ability to handle cash and operate point-of-sale systems (training provided)
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods (equipment provided for comfort)
- Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn new systems
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent
