- Process customer payments accurately using provided POS systems and equipment
- Scan merchandise, handle cash/credit transactions, and issue receipts
- Assist customers with product inquiries and resolve checkout issues
- Maintain clean and organized checkout area and equipment
- Balance cash drawer at shift end and report discrepancies
- Support inventory management and stock replenishment as needed
- Adhere to all security protocols for cash handling
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred
- Basic math skills and comfort handling cash/transactions
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 25 lbs
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability
- Willingness to learn company systems (equipment provided)
