Responsibilities
- Process cash, credit, and mobile payments accurately using company-provided POS equipment
- Scan merchandise, calculate totals, and issue receipts with precision
- Resolve customer inquiries regarding products, promotions, and services
- Maintain organized checkout stations and assist with store inventory
- Operate company-owned equipment including cash registers, scanners, and tablets
- Uphold cash handling protocols and daily reconciliation procedures
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations
Qualifications
- Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred
- Proficient with technology and quick adaptation to new systems
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Reliable transportation and punctual work ethic
