Responsibilities
- Accurately ring up customer purchases using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Greet customers upon entry and provide exceptional service throughout their visit.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with strict attention to detail and accuracy.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding product locations, prices, and availability.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and fully stocked with supplies.
- Assist with bagging items and ensuring customer bags are secure.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Basic math skills and ability to handle money accurately.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Reliable transportation is required.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
