Responsibilities
- Process Transactions: Accurately scan, bag, and process customer payments using point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries, and provide product information to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Inventory Support: Assist with inventory management, stocking shelves, and maintaining visual merchandising standards.
- Problem Resolution: Handle customer complaints or issues professionally and escalate complex matters to management when necessary.
- Store Maintenance: Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and fully stocked with supplies.
- Remote Support: Utilize remote communication tools to assist with online order processing and customer support queries when on-site.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience as a cashier or in retail is preferred but not required.
- Skills: Strong basic math skills and the ability to handle cash with 100% accuracy.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Technology: Comfortable learning and operating modern POS systems and digital tools.
