Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions efficiently using POS systems while maintaining 100% accuracy
- Provide exceptional service by greeting customers, answering inquiries, and resolving concerns
- Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments with strict adherence to security protocols
- Assist with inventory management, stocking shelves, and maintaining store cleanliness
- Operate scanning equipment and process returns/exchanges per company policy
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations during peak hours
- Uphold food safety standards and sanitation guidelines in all areas
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of cashier or retail customer service experience
- Proficiency with POS systems and basic math skills for transaction accuracy
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to engage diverse customers
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Food handler's certification preferred (will provide if needed)
