Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately using POS systems while maintaining cash drawer accountability
- Deliver exceptional customer service through product knowledge, issue resolution, and friendly engagement
- Manage multiple payment methods including cash, credit, digital wallets, and EBT benefits
- Assist with inventory management, stocking shelves, and maintaining organized checkout areas
- Implement safety protocols, loss prevention measures, and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless store operations and customer flow
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months retail or customer service experience preferred
- Proven ability to handle cash transactions with 100% accuracy
- Strong basic math skills and proficiency with POS technology
- Exceptional communication skills and approachable demeanor
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- High school diploma or equivalent required
