Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems
- Provide outstanding customer service through product knowledge and friendly demeanor
- Handle cash, credit card, and digital payments with precision
- Maintain organized checkout areas and store cleanliness standards
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment
- Resolve customer inquiries and escalations promptly
- Operate scanning equipment and handle returns/exchanges
- Adhere to all security protocols and cash handling procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Previous retail or cashier experience preferred but not required
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn POS systems
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
