Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately using POS systems and handle cash/credit payments
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Stock and organize checkout areas with promotional materials and merchandise
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to management
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in checkout zones
- Assist with price checks and product location requests
- Support team members during peak hours to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications
- Previous cashier or retail experience preferred (training provided)
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn POS systems
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle physical tasks
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent required
