Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare and serve specialty coffee beverages following signature recipes
- Deliver exceptional customer service with product knowledge and personalized recommendations
- Maintain pristine cleanliness of espresso machines, brewing equipment, and service areas
- Manage inventory and assist with weekly supply ordering for coffee beans and supplies
- Collaborate with team members during peak hours to ensure efficient operations
- Develop innovative seasonal drink specials and contribute to menu evolution
- Train new hires on café standards, safety protocols, and customer engagement
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of professional barista experience required
- Proficiency in espresso extraction, latte art, and brewing techniques
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a passion for hospitality
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments during peak hours
- Basic cash handling and POS system proficiency
- Flexibility to work weekends, early mornings, and holidays
- Food Handler's Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Knowledge of specialty coffee origins and brewing methods
