Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare espresso drinks, pour-overs, and specialty beverages following recipe specifications
- Provide exceptional customer service with personalized recommendations and warm hospitality
- Maintain pristine cleanliness of coffee stations, equipment, and customer areas
- Operate POS systems accurately and process cash/credit transactions
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of coffee, syrups, and supplies
- Collaborate with team during peak hours to ensure seamless service flow
- Participate in monthly training sessions for new brewing techniques and menu updates
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of professional barista experience required
- Deep knowledge of coffee brewing methods and flavor profiles
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment during peak hours
- Strong communication skills with a customer-first mindset
- Flexible availability including weekends, early mornings, and holidays
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory tracking
- Food Handler's Certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Passion for specialty coffee and commitment to quality standards
