Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve specialty coffee drinks according to premium recipes and quality standards
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment safely and efficiently
- Provide exceptional customer service with friendly, personalized interactions
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workstation
- Handle cash transactions and POS system operations accurately
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless café operations
- Adhere to food safety protocols and health regulations
Qualifications
- No prior barista experience required – we train all team members!
- Must be 18+ years old (or 16+ with work permit)
- Exceptional customer service mindset and communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle fast-paced environments
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Flexible availability including mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Valid food handler's certificate (or willingness to obtain during onboarding)
- Passion for coffee and enthusiasm for learning new skills
