Responsibilities
- Brew high-quality espresso drinks and coffee beverages according to standard recipes and quality standards.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and making recommendations.
- Prepare and serve food items, ensuring freshness and presentation quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the counter, seating area, and restrooms.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately, processing cash and credit transactions.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking supplies as needed.
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe environment for customers and staff.
Qualifications
- Previous barista or customer service experience is preferred but not required; we are happy to train the right candidates.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- A friendly, outgoing personality with a positive attitude.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.
- Availability to work early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
