Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve specialty coffee drinks using professional equipment
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, and brewing systems
- Provide exceptional customer service and product recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness of workspace, equipment, and seating areas
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Assist with inventory management of coffee supplies
- Train on new equipment and seasonal menu items
Qualifications
- Previous barista or food service experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of coffee brewing techniques
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle fast-paced shifts
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable transportation to our Alameda Avenue location
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain)
