Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve premium coffee/espresso beverages with precision and artistry
- Engage warmly with customers, taking orders and customizing drinks to preferences
- Maintain pristine cleanliness of brewing equipment, service areas, and seating zones
- Operate POS systems efficiently while handling cash and digital transactions
- Collaborate with team to rotate stock, ensure freshness, and optimize workflow
- Develop seasonal menu knowledge and suggest pairings to enhance customer experience
- Support inventory management and uphold food safety standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months experience in specialty coffee or high-volume food service
- Proficient in espresso extraction techniques and milk texturing
- Exceptional communication skills with genuine customer service enthusiasm
- Ability to stand 6-8 hours and multitask in a fast-paced setting
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order accuracy
- Flexible availability including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Food Handler/Sanitation certification preferred
- Knowledge of specialty coffee origins and brewing methods a plus
