Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare and serve specialty coffee drinks (espresso, lattes, cold brew) according to recipes and quality standards
- Engage warmly with customers, taking orders and providing personalized recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including espresso machines and service areas
- Manage inventory, restock supplies, and uphold food safety protocols
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours
- Process payments accurately and operate POS systems efficiently
Qualifications
- Previous barista or customer service experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods and flavor profiles
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a passion for hospitality
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Food Handler's certification (or willingness to obtain)
