Responsibilities
- Develop 2026 technology roadmaps integrating quantum computing, neural interfaces, and decentralized AI
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping immersive metaverse experiences with spatial computing
- Conduct horizon scanning of emerging tech (biotech, fusion energy, synthetic biology) for commercial viability
- Design ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and human augmentation technologies
- Partner with venture capital arms to identify and acquire disruptive 2026 patent portfolios
- Present strategic tech forecasts to C-suite and board of directors quarterly
- Drive innovation sprints with MIT Media Lab and NASA JPL collaborators
Qualifications
- 10+ years in emerging tech strategy with 5+ years in AI/quantum computing leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing future-tech concepts (neurotech, fusion, etc.)
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or Future Studies preferred
- Deep expertise in Web3 architecture and decentralized identity systems
- Published research in Nature/Science on human-machine symbiosis or AGI alignment
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming frameworks
- Security clearance (or ability to obtain) for government-contracted R&D projects
- Portfolio demonstrating at least 3 commercialized 2026-adjacent innovations
