Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 strategic roadmap through horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend forecasting
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing products and services
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and Board of Directors quarterly
- Collaborate with R&D teams to identify emerging technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Author annual 'Future State' whitepapers published in industry journals
- Mentor junior futurists and establish company-wide foresight frameworks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of implementing long-term vision initiatives (2020-2025)
- Expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech) and their societal impacts
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Published thought leadership in foresight or innovation strategy
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFPC) preferred
- Experience scaling innovation programs in Fortune 500 environments
