Responsibilities
- Develop 2026 technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology sectors
- Lead scenario-planning workshops to identify disruptive opportunities and threats
- Produce quarterly trend reports for C-suite and board stakeholders
- Partner with product teams to integrate future insights into development cycles
- Establish cross-industry research initiatives with MIT, Stanford, and ETH Zurich
- Design ethical frameworks for emerging technologies
- Mentor junior futurists and publish thought leadership in Nature and WIRED
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or related field with 5+ years experience
- Proven track record of accurate technology forecasting (2018-2023)
- Expertise in exponential technologies and paradigm shifts
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals or industry white papers
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Horizon Scanning, Delphi Analysis)
- Experience working with Fortune 500 C-suite executives
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ major product launches based on future insights
