Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 innovation roadmaps across AI, quantum, and biotech domains
- Analyze emerging tech signals (Web4, AGI, synthetic biology) for commercial viability
- Design strategic partnerships with research institutions and industry disruptors
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-state ecosystems
- Produce horizon-scanning reports with actionable recommendations for executive leadership
- Drive patent strategy and intellectual property development for future-proof innovations
- Mentor junior futurists in advanced foresight methodologies and scenario planning
Qualifications
- 7+ years in strategy, R&D, or innovation consulting with Fortune 500 or scale-ups
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into business strategy
- Certification in futures methodology (e.g., WFS, Foresight Essentials) or equivalent
- Published thought leadership on technological disruption or long-term trends
- Experience leading cross-geographic innovation initiatives with $10M+ budgets
- Advanced degree in Technology, Engineering, Economics, or Strategic Foresight
- Portfolio demonstrating scenario planning and trend analysis for 2025-2030
