- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for board-level decision-making
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align R&D priorities with future market opportunities
- Produce annual 'State of 2026' intelligence reports for investors and partners
- Identify and evaluate emerging startup ecosystems for potential M&A partnerships
- Represent Horizon at global futurism conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, corporate innovation, or futurism research
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Published thought leadership on technological singularity or climate adaptation
- Proficiency in horizon scanning tools (e.g., Trend Hunter, Gartner Hype Cycle)
- Experience with AI-driven forecasting platforms and scenario modeling
- Portfolio demonstrating successful 3-5 year strategic predictions
- Fluency in at least one additional language (Mandarin/Spanish preferred)
