Responsibilities
- Anticipate and map global megatrends through 2026 using predictive analytics and scenario modeling
- Develop strategic roadmaps for exponential technologies (quantum, AGI, neurotech)
- Lead cross-disciplinary innovation sprints with R&D, product, and policy teams
- Author white papers and thought leadership for C-suite and government stakeholders
- Identify emerging threats and opportunities in climate-tech, AI ethics, and human augmentation
- Curate partnerships with academic institutions and national labs
- Present findings to the Board of Directors and venture capital partners
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or equivalent field
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Expertise in exponential technology forecasting (quantum, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Published thought leadership on paradigm shifts or disruptive innovation
- Proficiency in foresight tools (Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method, Causal Layered Analysis)
- Experience with scenario planning for Fortune 500 or government agencies
- Portfolio demonstrating impact from trend-to-strategy translation
- Ability to distill complex systems into actionable narratives
