Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning to identify and validate disruptive technologies and market paradigms impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop multi-generational strategic frameworks integrating AI, biotech, and quantum computing trajectories
- Facilitate executive workshops to translate foresight into prioritized R&D initiatives
- Author annual Future State Briefings for board stakeholders with data-driven scenario planning
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Champion innovation culture through internal hackathons and trend-forecasting challenges
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology roles
- Proven track record developing multi-decade strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, climate tech, neurotech, or space commercialization
- Exceptional narrative-building skills with executive-level presentation mastery
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology strategy (IEEE, HBR, etc.)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from APF or WFS) preferred
- Fluency in trend-mapping tools (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning software)
