Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across 15+ emerging technology domains
- Develop strategic roadmaps for 2026-2030 technological adoption cycles
- Produce executive foresight briefings and scenario-planning frameworks
- Facilitate cross-functional innovation workshops with Fortune 500 partners
- Represent the company at global tech foresight conferences and summits
- Maintain proprietary database of emerging technologies and disruptors
- Advise leadership on long-term risk mitigation and opportunity capture
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Published thought leadership on exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Proficiency in futures research methodologies (Delphi, horizon scanning, scenario planning)
- Experience with strategic roadmapping tools (e.g., Horizons, Toffler's Three Waves)
- Deep understanding of technological singularity implications and ethical frameworks
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful futures-to-strategy implementations
