Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze emerging technologies, sociocultural shifts, and geopolitical trends through horizon scanning and scenario planning
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps for 2026+ with measurable KPIs and implementation pathways
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping future-facing solutions (quantum computing applications, AI ethics frameworks, etc.)
- Present foresight findings to C-suite executives and external stakeholders through compelling narratives
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, think tanks, and global innovation ecosystems
- Curate and maintain a proprietary trend intelligence database with predictive analytics
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate a culture of strategic foresight across the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven track record of developing and implementing 5-10 year strategic plans
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech, AI) and their societal implications
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling abilities for complex concepts
- Experience with foresight methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis, cross-impact matrices)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
- Global network of futurists, technologists, and policy influencers
