Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal trends
- Lead scenario planning workshops to identify disruptive opportunities and threats across global markets
- Partner with product teams to translate future insights into actionable innovation pipelines
- Establish KPI frameworks for measuring long-term strategic initiatives and market evolution
- Present future-focused recommendations to executive stakeholders and investor communities
- Curate proprietary trend intelligence through AI-augmented research and expert networks
- Drive organizational culture shifts to embrace adaptive innovation methodologies
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial products or policies
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and technology forecasting methodologies
- Advanced degree in Business Strategy, Technology Forecasting, Futures Studies, or related field
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology) and societal megatrends
- Exceptional communication skills with experience to C-suite and board audiences
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-focused initiatives brought to market
