Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026+ innovation roadmaps across quantum, AI, and biotech domains
- Lead scenario-planning workshops to anticipate market disruptions and technological inflection points
- Partner with C-suite executives to align future-proofing strategies with business objectives
- Curate and analyze global tech trends from MIT Media Lab, World Economic Forum, and academic research
- Build patent portfolios for breakthrough innovations with 5-10 year commercialization horizons
- Mentor emerging talent in futurist methodologies and speculative design principles
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of launching category-defining products with 5+ year vision
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, climate tech)
- Published thought leadership in futurist journals or industry whitepapers
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent field
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., STEEP analysis, Delphi method)
- Certification in Futures Thinking from recognized institutions preferred
