- Analyze global tech trends and regulatory shifts to inform enterprise risk mitigation and opportunity capture
- Lead cross-functional 'Horizon Scanning' initiatives with MIT, NASA, and Silicon Valley accelerators
- Architect patent portfolios and IP strategies for breakthrough technologies targeting 2026 market readiness
- Present futuristic vision to investors and board members with data-driven scenario modeling
- Mentor innovation teams in speculative design and exponential technology assessment
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent discipline
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methodology, and technology adoption lifecycle modeling
- Fluency in exponential technology forecasting tools (e.g., Gartner Hype Cycle, TechScape)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFPS) preferred
